Community Resources Directory
The Directory provides a list of local and national resources for vulnerable and homeless teens and young adults living in the Atlanta Metro Area. To access the resources, scroll down, choose a category, then click on your choice, a list will appear, then click the name of the listing to reach a detailed description with a map below.
Located in the West End Community of Atlanta, Abrahams House, Inc. works with other community partners to provide the basic essentials of food, clothing, and shelter to assist in rehabilitating lives. At the same time, Abrahams House, Inc. provides families with crisis management, counseling, and referrals through its Manna From Heaven Program. This program offers a place of community and hope to those who feel isolated and overwhelmed.
Manna From Heaven Program:
TAKE-OUT MEALS STILL AVAILABLE EACH WEDNESDAY!
A collaborative partnership to provide a weekly hot meal served every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Pickup meals are available or can be delivered to those meeting a specified criteria. Other services are available to patrons including counseling, support groups, and referrals from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Community Closet: provides free clothing to those that are in need for more information contact us at 404-274-1810.
Provides free healthy food items to families in need. Check the website for next distribution.
Impact Kidz features programs designed to curve and eliminate youth violence, teen pregnancy, drug use and school dropout rate are currently in place:

Mission: To connect people experiencing homelessness with the support necessary to become self-sufficient and find a permanent home.
Housing Placement & Stability
New Beginnings – New Beginnings is for men needing housing and employment case management as they re-enter the workplace.
Coordinated Entry Services – Coordinated Entry Services provide a single point of access to the housing continuums for the City of Atlanta and Fulton County.
Family & Community Engagement
Hope Atlanta Traveler’s Aid – Reunification program that connects individuals to loved ones in other states.
Crossroads – Crossroads seeks to provide access to resources that empower people experiencing homelessness to progress on the road toward economic and personal stability.
Engagement Center (EC) – Public services available including showers, lockers, phones, clothing closet, restrooms, and laundry services
Caroline’s Kitchen – Gateway Center’s food service operations and training program.

Homeless Ministries of Open Door:
Welcome Home: a rapid rehousing program for homeless women and families
Showering Program for the Homeless: a unique ministry in our area offering unsheltered homeless persons a place to shower, a change of clothing, hygiene items, and a place to do laundry.
Virginia D. Jackson Home for Women: Unaccompanied homeless women may stay for up to twelve months and are required to be working, looking for work, attending school, or participating in a day treatment program for substance abuse issues.
